Some recorded presentations I organized at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru

In November 2014, I hosted a tripartite virtual presentation of Dr. Mathias Spaliviero, who is a senior official from the United Nations – Habitat for Africa. Mathias made his presentation from Nairobi, Kenia to attendants from both the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru and the Universidad del Norte (Colombia). The presentation is entitled “Planeamiento participatorio de la gestión de la cuenca del rio Limpopo (Africa) para la reducción del riesgo de desastres”, and was presented in Spanish.

In August 2015, Dr. Abad made a presentation at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. It is entitled “CREAR: Actividades de Investigación y Educación en la Amazonia Peruana” which summarizes his and his research group studies on river morphodynamics, mainly concentrated on the Peruvian portion of the Amazon River.
